So timely as my son is stressed about his AP US History mid-term tomorrow...now if only that stress would channel itself into some productive activity, like oh, say studying!
ReplyDeleteHaha. I literally snorted at work. That second line is priceless.
ReplyDeleteI liked this one.
ReplyDeleteOh, 'crammed for a pie eating contest... please.
I crammed my butt into a pair of pants... that didn't end well for me either. :)
ReplyDeleteClever and creative, Tina. Loved it!
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really love this - especially the phrase 'the brain then removed all traces of acquired data'. That is so, so true! LM x
ReplyDeleteBagged!
ReplyDeletelol This was great, Tina. Love the exhibit aspect.
Oh, and just so you know, I swear I have a small trace of it somewhere. I just have to find it.
the perfect exhibit. so true to life. wonderful humor in your words.
ReplyDeleteSo very true! Fabulous take on the prompt!
ReplyDeleteYou have nailed the ridiculous nature of standardized testing in your 33 words. I feel a rant coming on so, I am going to slam the brakes on those thoughts and, instead, simply say, well told story, Tina! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, one can only hope that that kind of testing will go out of style... Fun little needle-jabbing piece!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know my museum piece is in great company!
ReplyDeleteHa! That is exactly what my brain did every time.
ReplyDeleteIts been awhile, but been there, done that. Good take.
