The world, she spins,
'Round and round,
A Bride, radiating joy,
In a wedding dance.
Every turn brings her
Closer to her Beloved,
Who stands, with Scythe,
Ready
When the music finally
Stops.

Maybe this should have been "Last Dance" but Donna Summer would have sounded too happy for this piece... this piece was awesome! The imagery just pulled you in, much like the pull of the earth and death on all of us.
Oh My God! I hope I spelled that right.
ReplyDeleteOf course my Star Wars brain thought he was waiting with the Sithe at first, but this sounds even more sinister!
ReplyDeleteLol--may the Force be with you!
