This weekend for Trifextra, they are asking for 33 words about a new beginning.
Eyes meet across a noisy, crowded room.
Boy meets puppy, it's love at first sight.
Except there is a line to adopt,
interviews with the shelter, and
papers to sign first.
Finally, together!
I like this! We experienced something similar when our sons got cats. It's been three years and they adore those pets :)
ReplyDeleteOh we have cats in the family, but the boy needs a dog to chase after. Cats don't really do that, unless they are the ones doing the chasing. :)
Deleteyep, that's how it happens, even if the puppy is a boy.
ReplyDeletecute, poignant, love it
So cute!loved it-such a superb sentiment!Love,is sweet,especially when it's with a Puppy:-)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThis is too adorable <3
ReplyDeleteOn occasion, adorable happens here. ;-)
DeleteFinally the family is complete. Great post.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We're definitely enjoying the puppy--she certainly is as active as our son.
DeleteLove this! Nothing beats that kind of love.
ReplyDeleteNo, nothing does. Zane would take Maisy to school with him if he could!
DeleteThat ten minute wait before it's official - torture, even if you're not a kid!
ReplyDeleteThis actually took a couple of days--the shelter wasn't open on Mondays, of all things!
DeleteAwww so sweet!!
ReplyDelete"finally together" so worth the wait. Nice.

Glad the puppy was not snatched up by someone else!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! It was meant to be! Now comes the fun part!
ReplyDeleteAdopting a puppy is a process these days but it's always worth it in the end. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, puppies are awesome. We got one from a shelter years ago and had to wait for her to be fixed and get an ID chip, it was worth the wait though and my son loved her very much.
