The Surprises That You Find On Your Patio, Part Two

I love cacti. They are the ultimate survivors. Even with me. I just bought this nondescript cactus at the Home Depot. I was angry that some idiot had glued crappy yellow flowers onto the top of the cactus, because this is what the REAL flowers on this cactus look like:

    Those are pretty! I giggle every time I see a Cactus because we got my mom one for mother's day when we lived in AZ and she killed it with too much love. She still gets misty when you talk about it. Haha

    Oh My God! My boyfriend gave me cacti for Valentine's Day several years ago and I threw a fit when I saw the odd colored fake flowers glued on. I took them off and a year later beautiful white flowers bloomed. I love my cacti. I've been having serious trouble with them lately. I believe I paid too much attention to them and they are suffering. I think it was my way of avoiding other problems in my life and I'm extremely upset. Fingers crossed they will bounce back!
